For years, Nayana Vasant’s beloved dad was bedridden. His health condition robbed her precious childhood. When her school friends would brag about how their dads play with them, take them for shopping or go on holidays; she would feel sad, sorry, deprived and lonely.

 She often stifled her grief and never expressed her real feelings with her classmates and friends. Yet, God gifted her with a melodious voice that made everyone sit up, listen, enjoy and appreciate. Her talent for singing just kept rising like a crescendo. She participated in many singing competitions. The real turning point came about when her talent was recognized on the famous SaReGaMa show.

 It was during the final episode of Season 19, Nayana’s true story came to light and made every participant emotional on the set that day!
